1. 4ಇನ್ನು ಏಳು ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ಹಗಲು ನಾಲ್ವತು ರಾತ್ರಿ ಮಳೆಯು ಬರುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ನಾನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದ ಜೀವರಾಶಿಯನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಭೂಮುಖದಿಂದ ನಾಶಮಾಡು ತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.
2. 5ಕರ್ತನು ತನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದಂತೆಯೇ ನೋಹನು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು.
3. 6ಜಲಪ್ರಳಯವು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಉಂಟಾದಾಗ ನೋಹನು ಆರುನೂರು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
4. 7ಆಗ ನೋಹನು ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯೂ ಕುಮಾರರೂ ಅವರ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರೂ ಜಲಪ್ರಳಯವನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾವೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಹೋದರು.
5. 8ಶುದ್ಧ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅಶುದ್ಧ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪಕ್ಷಿ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹರಿದಾಡುವವು ಗಳೆಲ್ಲವೂ
