ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ದಿವಸಗಳಾದ ತರುವಾಯ ಆದದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ, ನೋಹನು ತಾನು ಮಾಡಿದ ನಾವೆಯ ಕಿಟಕಿಯನ್ನು ತೆರೆದು

- 7ಒಂದು ಕಾಗೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟನು; ಅದು ಹೊರಟು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿದ್ದ ಜಲವು ಆರಿಹೋಗುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾ ಬರುತ್ತಾ ಇತ್ತು.
- 8ಭೂಮುಖದ ಮೇಲೆ ನೀರು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಆಯಿತೋ ಇಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂದು ನೋಡುವಂತೆ ಒಂದು ಪಾರಿವಾಳವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
