ಆದರೆ ನೀರು ಭೂಮುಖದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಇದ್ದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಪಾರಿವಾಳದ ಅಂಗಾಲಿಗೆ ವಿಶ್ರಮಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಥಳವು ಸಿಕ್ಕದೆ ಅದು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ನಾವೆಗೆ ಬಂತು. ಅವನು ಕೈಚಾಚಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ನಾವೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡನು.
Aadare neeru bhoomukhadallellaa iddaddarinda paarivaalada angaalige vishramisuvadakke sthalavu sikkade adu tirigi avana balige naavege bantu. Avanu kaichaachi adannu hididu naaveyolage serisi kondanu.

- 11ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾರಿವಾಳವು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಲಾಗಿ ಇಗೋ, ಕಿತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಹಿಪ್ಪೆ ಎಲೆಯು ಅದರ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು; ಆಗ ನೋಹನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿನಿಂದ ನೀರು ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಯಿತೆಂದು ತಿಳು ಕೊಂಡನು.
