ಅವರ ದೇಶವು ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ತುಂಬಿದೆ; ತಮ್ಮ ಬೆರಳುಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಕೆಲಸವನ್ನೇ ಆರಾಧಿಸುವರು.

6ಆದದರಿಂದ ಯಾಕೋಬಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರು ಮೂಡಣ ದೇಶ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಗ್ನರಾಗಿ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರಂತೆ ಕಣಿ ಹೇಳುವವ ರಾಗಿಯೂ ಅನ್ಯ ದೇಶಗಳವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೆ ಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವದರಿಂದ ಈ ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀ.
7ಅವರ ದೇಶವು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರಗ ಳಿಂದಲೂ ತುಂಬಿದೆ, ಅವರ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಿತಿ ಯಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರ ದೇಶವು ಕುದುರೆಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ತುಂಬಿದೆ, ಅವರ ರಥಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಿತಿಯೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
8ಅವರ ದೇಶವು ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ತುಂಬಿದೆ; ತಮ್ಮ ಬೆರಳುಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಕೆಲಸವನ್ನೇ ಆರಾಧಿಸುವರು.
9ನೀಚನು ಹಿಗ್ಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಉತ್ತಮನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳು ತ್ತಾನೆ; ಆದಕಾರಣ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮನ್ನಿಸಬೇಡ.
10ಕರ್ತನ ಭಯಕ್ಕೂ ಆತನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ಘನತೆಗೂ ಬಂಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಕೋ, ದೂಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಅಡಗಿಕೋ.
