ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ವಾದಿಸುವಾಗ ನೀನು ನೀತಿವಂತನೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀ; ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ನ್ಯಾಯವಾದವುಗಳನು ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಲು ಬಿಡು; ದುಷ್ಟರ ಮಾರ್ಗವು ಸಫಲವಾಗುವದು ಯಾಕೆ? ಮಹಾವಂಚನೆ ಮಾಡು ವವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಯಾಕೆ ಸುಖವಾಗಿರುವರು.
Righteous [art] thou, O LORD, when I plead with thee: yet let me talk with thee of [thy] judgments: Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? [wherefore] are all they happy that deal very treacherously?
ನೀನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀ, ಹೌದು, ಅವರು ಬೇರೂರಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಹೌದು, ಫಲಫಲಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನೀನು ಅವರ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸವಿಾಪವಾಗಿದ್ದೀ, ಅವರ ಅಂತ ರಿಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳಿಗೆ ದೂರವೇ.
Thou hast planted them, yea, they have taken root: they grow, yea, they bring forth fruit: thou [art] near in their mouth, and far from their reins.
ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೀ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಶೋಧಿಸಿದ್ದೀ; ಕೊಲೆಗೆ ಕುರಿಗಳಂತೆ ಅವ ರನ್ನು ಎಳೆದುಬಿಡು, ಸಂಹಾರದ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡು.
But thou, O LORD, knowest me: thou hast seen me, and tried mine heart toward thee: pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.
ದೇಶವು ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನ ಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದುಃಖಿಸುವದೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹೊಲಗಳ ಹುಲ್ಲು ಒಣಗುವದೂ ಎಷ್ಟರ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ? ಮೃಗಗಳೂ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳೂ ನಾಶವಾಗುತ್ತವೆ; ಅವರು--ಒಬ್ಬರೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಅಂತ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೋಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our last end.
ಕಾಲಾ ಳುಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಓಡುವಾಗ ನಿನಗೆ ಆಯಾಸವಾದರೆ ಕುದುರೆಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೇಗೆ ಹೋರಾಡುವಿ? ನೀನು ಭರವಸವಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಯಾಸಪಡಿಸಿದರೆ ಯೊರ್ದನ್‌ ದಡವಿಾರು ವಾಗ ಏನು ಮಾಡುವಿ?
If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and [if] in the land of peace, [wherein] thou trustedst, [they wearied thee], then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?
ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆತನದವರೂ ಇವರೇ ನಿನಗೆ ವಂಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಹೌದು, ಇವರೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಸಮೂಹವನ್ನು ಕರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದರೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಂಬಬೇಡ.
For even thy brethren, and the house of thy father, even they have dealt treacherously with thee; yea, they have called a multitude after thee: believe them not, though they speak fair words unto thee.
ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಅತಿ ಪ್ರಿಯವಾದವಳನ್ನು ಅವಳ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
I have forsaken mine house, I have left mine heritage; I have given the dearly beloved of my soul into the hand of her enemies.
ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಿಂಹದ ಹಾಗಾಯಿತು, ಅದು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕೂಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
Mine heritage is unto me as a lion in the forest; it crieth out against me: therefore have I hated it.
ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ ಚಿತ್ರ ವರ್ಣದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಯಾಯಿತು. ಸುತ್ತಲಾಗಿ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿವೆ; ಬನ್ನಿ, ಹೊಲದ ಮೃಗಗಳ ನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೂಡಿಸಿರಿ, ತಿನ್ನುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನಿರಿ;
Mine heritage [is] unto me [as] a speckled bird, the birds round about [are] against her; come ye, assemble all the beasts of the field, come to devour.
ಅನೇಕ ಕುರುಬರು ನನ್ನ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ತೋಟವನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ನನ್ನ ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ತುಳಿದುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ನಾನು ಮೆಚ್ಚಿದ ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಹಾಳಾದ ಅರಣ್ಯವಾಗ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.
ಅದನ್ನು ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅದು ಹಾಳಾ ಗಿಯೇ ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ದುಃಖಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ದೇಶವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾಳಾ ಯಿತು. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ತರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
They have made it desolate, [and being] desolate it mourneth unto me; the whole land is made desolate, because no man layeth [it] to heart.
ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆಡಿಸುವವರು ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಕರ್ತನ ಕತ್ತಿಯು ದೇಶದ ಒಂದು ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಕಡೆಯ ವರೆಗೂ ತಿಂದು ಬಿಡುತ್ತದೆ ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೂ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಿಲ್ಲ.
The spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of the LORD shall devour from the [one] end of the land even to the [other] end of the land: no flesh shall have peace.
ಗೋಧಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತಿ, ಮುಳ್ಳು ಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಯ್ಯುವರು; ಕಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟರೂ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನ ವಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಕರ್ತನ ಕೋಪದ ಉರಿಯಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬೆಳೆಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡುವಿರಿ.
They have sown wheat, but shall reap thorns: they have put themselves to pain, [but] shall not profit: and they shall be ashamed of your revenues because of the fierce anger of the LORD.
ನನ್ನ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ನೆರೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಜನರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟುವವರಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅವರ ಭೂಮಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕಿತ್ತುಹಾಕುವೆನು; ಯೆಹೂದನ ಮನೆತನದವರನ್ನು ಅವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕಿತ್ತುಹಾಕುವೆನು.
Thus saith the LORD against all mine evil neighbours, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah from among them.
ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತುಹಾಕಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಗುವದೇ ನಂದರೆ--ನಾನು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸುವೆನು; ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು.
And it shall come to pass, after that I have plucked them out I will return, and have compassion on them, and will bring them again, every man to his heritage, and every man to his land.
ಬಾಳನ ಆಣೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಜನಕ್ಕೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರು ಕರ್ತನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಆಣೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ಮಾರ್ಗ ಗಳನ್ನು ಜಾಗ್ರತೆಯಾಗಿ ಕಲಿತುಕೊಂಡರೆ ಆಗ ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಡುವರು.ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಕೇಳದೆಹೋದರೆ, ಆ ಜನಾಂಗವನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂ ರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಕಿತ್ತು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ.
And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The LORD liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people.
ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಕೇಳದೆಹೋದರೆ, ಆ ಜನಾಂಗವನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂ ರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಕಿತ್ತು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ.
But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the LORD.
