ಆಗ ನಾನು ಕುಂಬಾರನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಇಳಿದುಹೋದೆನು; ಇಗೋ, ಅವನು ಚಕ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆಲಸಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
Aaga naanu kumbaarana manege iliduhodenu; igo, avanu chakrada mele kelasamaaduttiddanu.

- 2ಎದ್ದು ಕುಂಬಾರನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಇಳಿದು ಹೋಗು; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ನನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಮಾಡುವೆನು ಎಂಬದೇ.
- 3ಆಗ ನಾನು ಕುಂಬಾರನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಇಳಿದುಹೋದೆನು; ಇಗೋ, ಅವನು ಚಕ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆಲಸಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
- 4ಅವನು ಮಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪಾತ್ರೆ ಕುಂಬಾರನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟುಹೋಯಿತು; ಆಗ ಕುಂಬಾರನಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇದೆಂದು ತೋರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅದನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಪಾತ್ರೆ ಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
- 5ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ ಉಂಟಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--
