1. 15ಆದರೂ ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಅಪರಾಧವಿಲ್ಲದ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡು ತ್ತೀರೆಂದು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳ ನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಿವಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.
2. 16ಆಗ ಪ್ರಧಾನರೂ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಿಗೂ--ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಮರಣದ ನಿರ್ಣ ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕವನಲ್ಲ; ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದರು.
3. 17ದೇಶದ ಹಿರಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಎದ್ದು ಜನರ ಕೂಟ ಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--
4. 18ಮೋರೇಷೆತಿನವನಾದ ವಿಾಕಾಯನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸಿ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಜನರಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು ತ್ತಾನೆ--ಚೀಯೋನು ಹೊಲದ ಹಾಗೆ ಉಳಲ್ಪಡು ವದು; ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮು ದಿಬ್ಬಗಳಾಗುವದು; ಮಂದಿ ರದ ಬೆಟ್ಟವು ಅಡವಿಯ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಗುವದು.
5. 19ಅವನನ್ನು ಯೆಹೂದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಯೆಹೂದವೂ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರೋ? ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ಕರ್ತನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊರೆ ಯಿಟ್ಟನಲ್ಲವೋ? ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಕೇಡಿನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಆದರೆ ನಾವು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು.
