ಆಗ ಬಾರೂಕನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಅವನು ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯ ಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು; ನಾನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಸಿಯಿಂದ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದೆನು ಅಂದನು.
Aaga baarookanu avarige--avanu baayinda ee vaakya galannellaa nanage helikottanu; naanu avugalannu masiyinda pustakadalli baredenu andanu.

- 19ಆಗ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಬಾರೂಕನಿಗೆ--ನೀನೂ ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನೂ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ನೀವು ಎಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೀರೆಂಬದು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿಯಲ್ಪಡದೆ ಇರಲಿ ಅಂದರು.
