2. 5ಆಗ ಅರಸನಾದ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನು ಇಗೋ, ಅವನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಿಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಅರಸನು ಏನು ಮಾಡಬಲ್ಲವ ನಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
3. 6ಆಗ ಅವರು ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯ ಅಂಗಳದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಹಮ್ಮೇಲೆಕನ ಮಗನಾದ ಮಲ್ಕೀಯನ ಕುಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದರು; ಅವರು ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನನ್ನು ಹಗ್ಗಗಳಿಂದ ಇಳಿಸಿದರು; ಆ ಕುಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರು ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಕೆಸರು ಮಾತ್ರ ಇತ್ತು; ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನು ಕೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಣುಗಿದನು.
