ಆದದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ಅನ್ನುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ಇಗೋ, ದಿನಗಳು ಬರುವವು; ಆಗ ಅದು ಇನ್ನು ತೋಫೆತೆಂದೂ ಹಿನ್ನೋಮನ ಮಗನ ತಗ್ಗು ಎಂದೂ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಕೊಲೆಯ ತಗ್ಗು ಎಂದು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಸರಾಗುವದು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಸ್ಥಳವಿಲ್ಲದ ವರೆಗೂ ತೋಫೆತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಹೂಣಿಡುವರು.

- 33ಈ ಜನರ ಹೆಣಗಳು ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೃಗ ಗಳಿಗೂ ಆಹಾರವಾಗುವವು; ಯಾರೂ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆದರಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ.ಆಗ ನಾನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸ ಸಂತೋಷದ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನೂ ಮದಲಿಂಗನ ಮದಲಗಿತ್ತಿಯ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನೂ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸುವೆನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ದೇಶವು ಹಾಳಾಗುವದು.
