Jesus' Words in Kannada

1. ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಾನೇ ಮಾರ್ಗವೂ ಸತ್ಯವೂ ಜೀವವೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿ ಹೊರತು ಯಾರೂ ತಂದೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

   Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

2. ಯೇಸು ಆಕೆಗೆ--ನಾನೇ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನವೂ ಜೀವವೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇಡುವವನು ಸತ್ತರೂ ಬದುಕುವನು; ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಬದುಕುತ್ತಾ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಡುವದಾದರೆ ಅವನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಸಾಯುವ ದಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದನ್ನು ನೀನು ನಂಬುತ್ತೀಯೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ

   Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

3. ತರುವಾಯ ಯೇಸು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನೇ ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಳಕಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವವನು ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಜೀವದ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

   Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

4. ನಾನೇ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಕುರುಬನು; ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಕುರುಬನು ಕುರಿಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.

   I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

5. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನೇ ಆ ಜೀವದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ; ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವವನಿಗೆ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಹಸಿವೆಯಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇಡುವವನಿಗೆ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ನೀರಡಿಕೆಯಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

   And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

6. ನಾನೇ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇಬಳ್ಳಿ, ನೀವು ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳು; ಒಬ್ಬನು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಾನು ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವನೇ ಬಹಳ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀವು ಏನೂ ಮಾಡಲಾರಿರಿ.

   I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

7. ಕಷ್ಟಪಡುವವರೇ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರಹೊತ್ತವರೇ, ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು.

   Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

8. ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ, ನನ್ನ ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಲೋಕವು ಕೊಡುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯವು ಕಳವಳಗೊಳ್ಳ ದಿರಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅಂಜದಿರಲಿ.

   Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

9. ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವು ಉಂಟಾಗುವಂತೆ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಂಕಟ ಇರುವದು; ಆದರೆ ಧೈರ್ಯವಾಗಿರ್ರಿ; ನಾನು ಲೋಕ ವನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

   These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

10. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಿರಿ; ಮತ್ತು ಇಗೋ, ಲೋಕಾಂತ್ಯದ ವರೆಗೂ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ ಅಂದನು. ಆಮೆನ್‌.

    Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.

11. ದೇವರು ಲೋಕವನ್ನು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಪ್ರೀತಿಮಾಡಿ ತನ್ನ ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು; ಆತನನ್ನು ನಂಬುವ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ನಾಶವಾಗದೆ ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವ ವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದವನಾಗಿರುವನು.

    For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

12. ಆದರೆ ಮೊದಲು ನೀವು ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಆತನ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಹುಡುಕಿರಿ. ಇವುಗಳ ಕೂಡ ಅವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳು ಕೂಡಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವವು.ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಾಳೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಚಿಂತೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾಳಿನ ದಿನವು ತನಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಪಟ್ಟವುಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ತಾನೇ ಚಿಂತಿಸುವದು. ಆ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಅದರ ಕಾಟ ಸಾಕು.

    But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

13. ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ಅದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಡುವದು; ಹುಡುಕಿರಿ, ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕುವದು; ತಟ್ಟಿರಿ, ಅದು ನಿಮಗೆ ತೆರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವದು.

    Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

14. ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಒಂದು ಹೊಸ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ--ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನೀವೂ ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಬೇಕು.

    A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

15. ನೀವು ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಳಕಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಮರೆಯಾಗಿರಲಾರದು.

    Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

16. ಆಗ ಯೇಸು--ತಂದೆಯೇ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ತಾವು ಏನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆಂದು ಅವರು ಅರಿಯರು ಅಂದನು. ಅವರು ಆತನ ಉಡುಪನ್ನು ಪಾಲು ಮಾಡಿ ಚೀಟು ಹಾಕಿದರು.

    Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

17. ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಈ ದಿನವೇ ನೀನು ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪರದೈಸಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವಿ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

    And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

18. ಯೇಸು ಆ ಹುಳಿರಸವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡ ಮೇಲೆ--ತೀರಿತು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ತನ್ನ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಬಾಗಿಸಿ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

    When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

19. ಯೇಸು ಮಹಾಧ್ವನಿಯಿಂದ--ತಂದೆಯೇ, ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು; ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ಪ್ರಾಣಬಿಟ್ಟನು.

    And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

20. ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಬೇಗ ಬರುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನಾನು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಅವನವನ ಕೆಲಸದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕೊಡತಕ್ಕ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿದೆ.

    And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward [is] with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
