ಆತ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಡವರಾಗಿರುವವರು ಧನ್ಯರು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಪರಲೋಕರಾಜ್ಯವು ಅವರದು.
Blessed [are] the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:3 (ಮತ್ತಾಯನು 5:3) ದುಃಖಪಡುವವರು ಧನ್ಯರು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಆದರಣೆ ಹೊಂದುವರು.
Blessed [are] they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Matthew 5:4 (ಮತ್ತಾಯನು 5:4) ಸಾತ್ವಿಕರು ಧನ್ಯರು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಬಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದುವರು.
Blessed [are] the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed [are] they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Matthew 5:6 (ಮತ್ತಾಯನು 5:6) ಕರುಣೆಯುಳ್ಳವರು ಧನ್ಯರು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಕರುಣೆ ಹೊಂದುವರು.
Blessed [are] the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Matthew 5:7 (ಮತ್ತಾಯನು 5:7) ಶುದ್ಧ ಹೃದಯವುಳ್ಳವರು ಧನ್ಯರು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು ದೇವರನ್ನು ನೋಡುವರು.
Blessed [are] the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Matthew 5:8 (ಮತ್ತಾಯನು 5:8) ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಮಾಡುವವರು ಧನ್ಯರು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು ದೇವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವರು.
Blessed [are] the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Matthew 5:9 (ಮತ್ತಾಯನು 5:9) ನೀತಿಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂಸಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವವರು ಧನ್ಯರು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಪರಲೋಕರಾಜ್ಯವು ಅವರದು.
Blessed [are] they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:10 (ಮತ್ತಾಯನು 5:10) ನನ್ನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಜನರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದೂಷಿಸಿ ಹಿಂಸಿಸಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ತರದ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಸುಳ್ಳಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ನೀವು ಧನ್ಯರು. ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಿರಿ, ಅತಿ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸದಿಂದಿರ್ರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವು ದೊಡ್ಡದಾಗಿದೆ; ನಿಮಗಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಇದ್ದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಹಿಂಸಿಸಿದರಲ್ಲಾ.
Blessed are ye, when [men] shall revile you, and persecute [you], and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great [is] your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
