14ಬಳಿಕ ಆ ಜನರು ಯೇಸು ಮಾಡಿದ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ--ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಬೇಕಾಗಿದ್ದ ಆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು ಈತನೇ ಅಂದರು.
15ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಬಂದು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಾಯ ದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಅರಸನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡ ಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ಯೇಸು ತಿಳಿದು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ತಿರಿಗಿ ತಾನೊಬ್ಬನೇ ಒಂಟಿಗನಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದನು.
16ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲವಾದಾಗ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಸಮುದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ
17ದೋಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ಸಮುದ್ರಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಕಪೆರ್ನೌಮಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿ ದ್ದರು. ಆಗಲೇ ಕತ್ತಲಾಗಿತ್ತು, ಯೇಸು ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
18ಆಗ ಬಲವಾದ ಗಾಳಿಯು ಬೀಸಿದ್ದ ರಿಂದ ಸಮುದ್ರವು ಅಲ್ಲಕಲ್ಲೋಲವಾಯಿತು.
