2. 28ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಆಯಿಯನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟು ಅದನ್ನು ಈ ವರೆಗೆ ಇರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಹಾಳಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವ ಮಣ್ಣುದಿನ್ನೆ ಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
3. 29ಆಯಿಯ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದ ವರೆಗೂ ಒಂದು ಮರದಲ್ಲಿ ತೂಗ ಹಾಕಿಸಿದನು. ಸೂರ್ಯ ಅಸ್ತಮಿಸುವಾಗ ಯೆಹೋಶು ವನು ಅವನ ಹೆಣವನ್ನು ಮರದಿಂದ ಇಳಿಸಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಬಾಗಲಿನ ದ್ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಲು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಅವರು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿ ಈ ವರೆಗೆ ಇರುವ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಲ್ಲು ಕುಪ್ಪೆಯನ್ನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಕಿದರು.
4. 30ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಕರ್ತನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಮೋಶೆಯ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪ ಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಏಬಾಲ್‌ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಉಳಿ ಮುಟ್ಟದ ಪೂರ್ಣವಾದ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಬಲಿಪೀಠವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದನು.
