ಕೆಲವು ದಿನಗಳ ತರುವಾಯ ಆದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ, ಗೋಧಿಯ ಸುಗ್ಗೀ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸೋನನು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ಮೇಕೆಯ ಮರಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನು--ನನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಠಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.
Kelavu dinagala taruvaaya aadaddenandare, godhiya suggee kaaladalli sansonanu tanna hendatiyannu noduvadakke ondu mekeya mariyannu tegedukondu hogi avanu--nanna hendatiya balige kothadiyalli praveshisuttene andanu.

- 2ಆದರೆ ಅವಳ ತಂದೆಯು ಅವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಗೊಡದೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಅವ ಳನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಹಗೆಮಾಡಿದಿ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದು ಅವಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಜೊತೆಯವನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು. ಅವಳ ತಂಗಿ ಅವಳಿಗಿಂತ ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ದ್ದಾಳಲ್ಲವೋ? ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಇವಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೋ ಅಂದನು.
- 3ಆಗ ಸಂಸೋನನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕುರಿತುನಾನು ಈ ಸಾರಿ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರಿಗೆ ಕೇಡನ್ನುಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಅವರಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಯಾಗಿರುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಿ ಮುನ್ನೂರು ನರಿ ಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು
