ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರು ಬಿದ್ದರು. ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

- 42ಆದರೆ ಯುದ್ಧವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿ ಯಿತು. ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಬರುವ ಜನರನ್ನು ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲೇ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು.
- 43ಹೀಗೆ ಬೆನ್ಯಾ ವಿಾನ್ಯರನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಮುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ, ಗಿಬೆಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮೂಡಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾವಕಾಶ ವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ತುಳಿದುಹಾಕಿದರು.
- 44ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರು ಬಿದ್ದರು. ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
- 45ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ತಿರುಗಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರಿಮ್ಮೋನ್‌ ಬಂಡೆಗೆ ಓಡಿ ಹೋದರು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಐದು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರನ್ನು ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಕ್ಕಲಾರಿಸಿ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು. ಕಡಿಮೆಯ ವರನ್ನು ಗಿದೋಮಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ವಧಿಸಿದರು.
- 46ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನ್ಯರೊಳಗೆ ಆ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕತ್ತಿ ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರು. ಇವರೆ ಲ್ಲರೂ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
