ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನ್ಯರೊಳಗೆ ಆ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕತ್ತಿ ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರು. ಇವರೆ ಲ್ಲರೂ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

- 44ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರು ಬಿದ್ದರು. ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
- 45ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ತಿರುಗಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರಿಮ್ಮೋನ್‌ ಬಂಡೆಗೆ ಓಡಿ ಹೋದರು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಐದು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರನ್ನು ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಕ್ಕಲಾರಿಸಿ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು. ಕಡಿಮೆಯ ವರನ್ನು ಗಿದೋಮಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ವಧಿಸಿದರು.
- 46ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನ್ಯರೊಳಗೆ ಆ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕತ್ತಿ ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರು. ಇವರೆ ಲ್ಲರೂ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
- 47ಆದರೆ ಆರು ನೂರು ಮಂದಿ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರಿಮ್ಮೋನ್‌ ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ರಿಮ್ಮೋನ್‌ ಗುಡ್ಡದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಲ್ಕು ತಿಂಗಳು ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದರು.ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಜನರು ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಹೋಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರನ್ನೂ ಪಶು ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೈಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದು ತಾವು ಹೋದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
- 48ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಜನರು ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಹೋಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರನ್ನೂ ಪಶು ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೈಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದು ತಾವು ಹೋದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
