Then Zebah and Zalmunna said, Rise thou, and fall upon us: for as the man [is, so is] his strength. And Gideon arose, and slew Zebah and Zalmunna, and took away the ornaments that [were] on their camels’ necks.

3. 21ಆಗ ಜೆಬ ಹನೂ ಚಲ್ಮುನ್ನನೂ--ನೀನು ಎದ್ದು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳು; ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವನ ಬಲವು ಇರುವದು ಅಂದರು.
4. 22ಗಿದ್ಯೋನನು ಎದ್ದು ಜೆಬಹನನ್ನೂ ಚಲ್ಮುನ್ನನನ್ನೂ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿ ಅವರ ಒಂಟೆಗಳ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದ ಆಭರಣಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡನು.
5. 23ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಜನರು ಗಿದ್ಯೋನನಿಗೆನೀನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮಿದ್ಯಾನ್ಯರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರನೂ ಕುಮಾರನ ಕುಮಾರನೂ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಳಬೇಕು ಅಂದರು. ಗಿದ್ಯೋ ನನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ, ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ, ಕರ್ತನೇ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಳುವನು ಅಂದನು.
