ಆಗ ಅವನು ಪೆನೂವೇಲಿನ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಸಹ--ನಾನು ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಿ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬರುವಾಗ ಈ ಗೋಪು ರವನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿಬಿಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
Aaga avanu penoovelina manushyarige saha--naanu samaadhaanavaagi tirigi baruvaaga ee gopu ravannu kedavibiduvenu andanu.

- 8ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಪೆನೂವೇ ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಆ ಊರಿನವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಆ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು. ಅವರು ಸುಖೋತಿನ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
- 9ಆಗ ಅವನು ಪೆನೂವೇಲಿನ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಸಹ--ನಾನು ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಿ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬರುವಾಗ ಈ ಗೋಪು ರವನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿಬಿಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
- 10ಆದರೆ ಜೆಬಹನೂ ಚಲ್ಮುನ್ನನೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಸೈನ್ಯವಾದ ಹೆಚ್ಚುಕಡಿಮೆ ಹದಿನೈದು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರ ಸಂಗಡ ಕರ್ಕೋರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದರು. ಇವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕತ್ತಿ ಹಿಡಿಯತಕ್ಕ ಲಕ್ಷದ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನ ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋದಾಗ ಮೂಡಣದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದರು.
- 11ಗಿದ್ಯೋನನು ನೋಬಹ, ಯೊಗ್ಬೆಹಾ ಇವುಗಳ ಮೂಡಣದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಡೇರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿರುವವರ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಿ ಆ ದಂಡನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆ ದಂಡು ಭದ್ರವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
