1. 1ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸುಂಕದವರೂ ಪಾಪಿಗಳೂ ಉಪದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವದ ಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆತನ ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು.
2. 2ಫರಿಸಾಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳು--ಇವನು ಪಾಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಊಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
3. 3ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಈ ಸಾಮ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿ ದನು--
4. 4ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತನಗೆ ನೂರು ಕುರಿಗಳಿರಲಾಗಿ ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದನ್ನು ಕಳೆದು ಕೊಂಡರೆ ಅವನು ತೊಂಭತ್ತೊಂಭತ್ತನ್ನು ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಕಳೆದುಹೋದದ್ದು ಸಿಕ್ಕುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗದಿರುವನೇ?
5. 5ಅವನು ಆ ಕುರಿಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಂತೋಷ ಪಡುತ್ತಾ ಅದನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಗಲುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊತ್ತು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.
