ಒಬ್ಬ ಬಡ ವಿಧವೆಯು ಸಹ ಎರಡು ಕಾಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕುವದನ್ನು ಆತನು ನೋಡಿದನು.

1ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬೊಕ್ಕಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕುವದನ್ನು ಆತನು ಕಣ್ಣೆತ್ತಿ ನೋಡಿದನು.
2ಒಬ್ಬ ಬಡ ವಿಧವೆಯು ಸಹ ಎರಡು ಕಾಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕುವದನ್ನು ಆತನು ನೋಡಿದನು.
3ಆತನು--ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಈ ಬಡ ವಿಧವೆಯು ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾಳೆ;
4ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮಗಿರುವ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಆದರೆ ಈಕೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಬಡತನದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಜೀವನಕ್ಕೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾಳೆ ಅಂದನು.
