1. 18ಆತನು ದೋಣಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಆ ದೆವ್ವ ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದವನು ತಾನು ಆತನ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇರುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.
2. 19ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಯೇಸು ಅವನನ್ನು ಇರಗೊಡದೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೂ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಹೋಗಿ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರುಣೆಯಿಟ್ಟು ಎಂಥಾ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳು ಅಂದನು.
3. 20ಅವನು ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಿ ಯೇಸು ತನಗೆ ಎಂಥೆಂಥಾ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನೆಂಬದನ್ನು ದೆಕಪೊಲಿ ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟರು.
4. 21ಯೇಸು ತಿರಿಗಿ ದೋಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಚೇದಡಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ಬಹಳ ಜನರು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಬಂದರು; ಆಗ ಆತನು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಸವಿಾಪದ ಲ್ಲಿದ್ದನು.
5. 22ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಯಿರನೆಂದು ಹೆಸರಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಬಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಆತನ ಪಾದಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದು--
