ಕೆಲವು ಬಹಳ ಮಣ್ಣಿಲ್ಲದ ಬಂಡೆಯ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದವು; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳವಾದ ಮಣ್ಣು ಇಲ್ಲದ್ದರಿಂದ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಅವು ಮೊಳೆತವು;

- 6ಆದರೆ ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವು ಬಾಡಿಹೋಗಿ ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೇರು ಇಲ್ಲದ್ದರಿಂದ ಒಣಗಿಹೋದವು.
- 7ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಲವು ಮುಳ್ಳುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದವು; ಆಗ ಆ ಮುಳ್ಳುಗಳು ಬೆಳೆದು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಡಗಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟವು.
