2. 3ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಕಣ್ಣಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ತೊಲೆಯನ್ನು ಯೋಚಿಸದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನ ಕಣ್ಣಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರವೆಯನ್ನು ನೀನು ಯಾಕೆ ನೋಡುತ್ತೀ?
3. 4ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣಿ ನೊಳಗಿಂದ ರವೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೀ? ಆದರೆ ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಕಣ್ಣಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಲೆ ಇದೆಯಲ್ಲಾ?
4. 5ಕಪಟಿ ನೀನು, ಮೊದಲು ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಕಣ್ಣಿನೊಳಗಿರುವ ತೊಲೆ ಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಹಾಕು; ಆಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನ ಕಣ್ಣಿನೊಳಗಿರುವ ರವೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಹಾಕುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಕಾಣಿಸುವದು.
5. 6ನಾಯಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪವಿತ್ರವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಕೊಡಬೇಡಿರಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂದಿಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಹಾಕಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಹಾಕಿದರೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತುಳಿದು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಮತ್ತೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹರಿದು ಬಿಟ್ಟಾವು.
