ಆತನು ಪರ್ವತವನ್ನಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಾಗ ಜನರು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಮೂಹಗಳಾಗಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದರು.
When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.
ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಒಬ್ಬ ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗಿಯು ಬಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಬಲ್ಲೆ ಅಂದನು.
And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಚಾಚಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿ--ನನಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸುಂಟು; ನೀನು ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗು ಅಂದನು. ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಅವನ ಕುಷ್ಠವು ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನು ಶುದ್ಧನಾದನು.
And Jesus put forth [his] hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಹೇಳಬೇಡ ನೋಡು; ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ ಯಾಜಕನಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೇಸು ಕಪೆರ್ನೌಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದಾಗ ಒಬ್ಬ ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿಯು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು--
And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನು ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವವಾಯು ರೋಗದಿಂದ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಸಂಕಟಪಡುತ್ತಾ ಮನೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.
And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಬಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.
And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿಯು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಮನೆ ಯೊಳಗೆ ಬರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಯೋಗ್ಯನಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಒಂದು ಮಾತು ಮಾತ್ರ ಹೇಳು, ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾಗುವನು.
The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಅಧಿಕಾರದ ಕೆಳಗಿರುವ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ನನ್ನ ಅಧೀನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈನಿಕರಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಮತ್ತು ನಾನು ಇವನಿಗೆ--ಹೋಗು ಅಂದರೆ ಇವನು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ--ಬಾ ಅಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಿಗೆ--ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ಅವನು ಮಾ
For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this [man], Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth [it].
ಯೇಸು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟು ತನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಇಂಥಾ ದೊಡ್ಡ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.
When Jesus heard [it], he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ಬಹಳ ಜನರು ಪೂರ್ವದಿಂದಲೂ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದಿಂದಲೂ ಬಂದು ಪರ ಲೋಕರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮ್‌ ಇಸಾಕ್‌ ಯಾಕೋಬ್‌ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೂತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
ಆದರೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹೊರಗೆ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಬ್ಬಲ್ಪಡುವರು; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಗೋಳಾಟವೂ ಹಲ್ಲು ಕಡಿಯೋಣವೂ ಇರುವವು.
But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
ಯೇಸು ಆ ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿಗೆ--ಹೋಗು, ನೀನು ನಂಬಿದಂತೆಯೇ ನಿನಗಾಗಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಸೇವಕನು ಅದೇ ಗಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾದನು.
And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, [so] be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೇಸು ಪೇತ್ರನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ತಾಯಿಯು ಜ್ವರದಿಂದ ಮಲಗಿರುವದನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು.
And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother laid, and sick of a fever.
ಆತನು ಆಕೆಯ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದಾಗ ಜ್ವರವು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು; ಮತ್ತು ಆಕೆಯು ಎದ್ದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉಪಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿದಳು.
And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.
ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲವಾದಾಗ ದೆವ್ವಗಳು ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದ ಬಹಳ ಜನರನ್ನು ಅವರು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದರು; ಮತ್ತು ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಮಾತಿನಿಂದ ದೆವ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ದ್ದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥವಾಗಿದ್ದವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with [his] word, and healed all that were sick:
ಹೀಗೆ--ಆತನು ತಾನೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಬಲಹೀನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ರೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತನು ಎಂಬದಾಗಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆಶಾಯನಿಂದ ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದು ನೆರವೇರುವಂತೆ ಇದಾಯಿತು.
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare [our] sicknesses.
ಇದಾದಮೇಲೆ ಯೇಸು ತನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಇದ್ದ ಜನರ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಮೂಹಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಆಚೆಕಡೆಗೆ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side.
ಆಗ ಒಬ್ಬ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಯು ಬಂದು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಬೋಧಕನೇ, ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋದರೂ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿ ಸುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಗುದ್ದುಗಳಿವೆ, ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಗೂಡು ಗಳಿವೆ; ಆದರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ತಲೆಯಿಡು ವದಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ಥಳವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air [have] nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay [his] head.
ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಾನು ಮೊದಲು ಹೋಗಿ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟು ಬರುವಂತೆ ನನಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸು; ಸತ್ತವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸತ್ತವರನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
ಆತನು ದೋಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿದಾಗ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದರು.
And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.
ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ತುಫಾನು ಎದ್ದ ಕಾರಣ ದೋಣಿಯು ತೆರೆಗಳಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು; ಆದರೆ ಆತನು ನಿದ್ರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.
ಆಗ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಬಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ--ಕರ್ತನೇ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು; ನಾವು ನಾಶವಾಗುತ್ತೇವೆ ಅಂದರು.
And his disciples came to [him], and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.
ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಓ ಅಲ್ಪ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಿಗಳೇ, ನೀವು ಯಾಕೆ ಭಯಪಡುತ್ತೀರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಎದ್ದು ಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನೂ ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನೂ ಗದರಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಶಾಂತತೆ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು.
And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯದಿಂದ--ಈತನು ಎಂಥಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ನಾಗಿರಬಹುದು! ಗಾಳಿಯೂ ಸಮುದ್ರವೂ ಈತನಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯವಾಗುತ್ತವಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂದರು.
But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
ಆತನು ಆಚೆಯ ದಡದ ಗದರೇನರ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ದೆವ್ವಗಳು ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಸಮಾಧಿ ಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ಆತನ ಎದುರಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು. ಅವರು ಬಹು ಉಗ್ರತೆಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಯಾವ ಮನು ಷ್ಯನೂ ಆ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವ ಹಾಗಿದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ.
And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.
ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಅವರು--ಯೇಸುವೇ, ದೇವ ಕುಮಾರನೇ, ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಗೊಡವೆ ಏನು? ಸಮಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂಚೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಂಕಟಪಡಿಸು ವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದೆಯಾ ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?
ಆಗ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬಹು ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಹಂದಿಗಳ ಗುಂಪು ಮೇಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.
ಆದದರಿಂದ ದೆವ್ವಗಳು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹಾಕುವದಾದರೆ ಆ ಹಂದಿಗಳ ಗುಂಪಿನೊಳಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡು ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡವು.
So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.
ಆತನು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ--ಹೋಗಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಅವು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು ಹಂದಿಗಳ ಗುಂಪಿನೊಳಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡವು; ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಹಂದಿಗಳ ಗುಂಪೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಕಡಿದಾದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಉಗ್ರವಾಗಿ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ಸತ್ತು ಹೋದವು.
And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.
ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದವರು ಪಟ್ಟಣ ದೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ದೆವ್ವಗಳು ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದವರಿಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನೂ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಿದರು.ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಪಟ್ಟಣದವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದರು; ಮತ್ತು ಅವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಮೇರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
And they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the devils.
ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಪಟ್ಟಣದವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದರು; ಮತ್ತು ಅವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಮೇರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought [him] that he would depart out of their coasts.
