ಲೇವಿ ಗೋತ್ರವನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಎಣಿಸದೆ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಳಗೆ ಅವರ ಲೆಕ್ಕವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ.

47ಆದರೆ ಲೇವಿಯರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಳ ಗೋತ್ರದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರೊಳಗೆ ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
48ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--
49ಲೇವಿ ಗೋತ್ರವನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಎಣಿಸದೆ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಳಗೆ ಅವರ ಲೆಕ್ಕವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ.
50ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಗುಡಾರ ಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಸ್ತುಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ನೇಮಿಸು. ಅವರು ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು, ಇದರ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಿ ಗುಡಾರದ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲೂ ಇಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
51ಗುಡಾರವು ಹೊರಡುವಾಗ ಲೇವಿಯರು ಅದನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚಲಿ; ಗುಡಾರವು ಇಳಿಯುವಾಗ ಲೇವಿಯರು ಅದನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಲಿ; ಪರಕೀಯನು ಸವಿಾಪಿಸಿದರೆ ಅವನು ಸಾಯಬೇಕು.
