ನೀವು ಕೊಡುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಆರು ಆಶ್ರಯದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಇರಬೇಕು.

11ಕೈತಪ್ಪಿ ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಶ್ರಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಬೇಕು.
12ಕೊಂದವನು ಸಭೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪಿಗೆ ನಿಲ್ಲುವ ವರೆಗೂ ಸಾಯದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸೇಡು ತೀರಿಸುವವನ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಆಶ್ರಯದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.
13ನೀವು ಕೊಡುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಆರು ಆಶ್ರಯದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಇರಬೇಕು.
14ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಈಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಾನಾನ್‌ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಆಶ್ರಯದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು.
15ಕೈತಪ್ಪಿ ಪ್ರಾಣಹತ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಆರು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಪರಕೀಯರಿಗೂ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವವರಿಗೂ ಆಶ್ರಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಇರಬೇಕು.
