3. 18ಯಾಜಕನು ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಆಕೆಯ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಮುಸುಕನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಅವಳ ಕೈಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಷದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಇಡಬೇಕು. ಆದರೆ ಯಾಜಕನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಪಿಸುವಂತ ಕಹಿಯಾದ ನೀರು ಇರಬೇಕು.
4. 19ಆಗ ಯಾಜಕನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದು: ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಲಗದೆ ನೀನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರಳಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಗಂಡನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಜಾರತ್ವಮಾಡದೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಶಪಿಸುವ ಈ ಕಹಿಯಾದ ನೀರಿಗೆ ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಯಾಗು.
