ಯಾಜಕನು ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ರೋಷದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಆ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲಾಡಿಸಿ ಬಲಿ ಪೀಠದ ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ತರಬೇಕು.
Yaajakanu aa streeya kaiyinda roshada kaanikeyannu takkondu aa kaanikeyannu kartana sammukhadalli allaadisi bali peethada saviాpakke tarabeku.

- 26ಆಗ ಯಾಜಕನು ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ಹಿಡಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುಟ್ಟು ಸ್ತ್ರೀಗೆ ಆ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಸಬೇಕು.
- 27ಆಕೆಗೆ ಆ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಕೆಯು ಅಶುದ್ಧಳಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಗಂಡನಿಗೆ ಅಪರಾಧ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಶಪಿಸುವ ನೀರು ಆಕೆ ಯೊಳಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ಕಹಿಯಾಗುವದು; ಅವಳ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆ ಉಬ್ಬಿ ತೊಡೆ ಕ್ಷೀಣವಾಗುವದು. ಆಗ ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ತನ್ನ ಜನರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಪವಾಗಿರುವಳು.
