ಸೋಮಾರಿಯ ಹೊಲದ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಹೀನನ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ತೋಟದ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಾನು ಹಾದು ಹೋದೆನು;

28ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನೆರೆಯವನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹೇಳಬೇಡ; ನಿನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳಿಂದ ಮೋಸಮಾಡಬೇಡ.
29ನನಗೆ ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ ನಾನೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು; ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ತೀರಿಸುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಡ.
30ಸೋಮಾರಿಯ ಹೊಲದ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಹೀನನ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ತೋಟದ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಾನು ಹಾದು ಹೋದೆನು;
31ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಹೊಲವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಮುಳ್ಳು ಗಿಡಗಳಿಂದ ಬೆಳೆದು ಕಳೆಗಳು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಅದರ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಗೋಡೆಯು ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಯಿತು.
32ಆಗ ನಾನು ನೋಡಿ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಟ್ಟೆನು; ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿತನಾದೆನು.
