1. 1ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟುವವನು ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ ದುಷ್ಟರು ಓಡಿಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಸಿಂಹದ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀತಿವಂತರು ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಇರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
2. 2ದೇಶದ ದೋಷಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅನೇಕ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳು ಇರುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಆದರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ವಿವೇಕದಿಂದಲೂ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಅದರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
3. 3ಬಡವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸುವ ದರಿದ್ರನು ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸದಂತೆ ಸುರಿಯುವ ಮಳೆಯಂತಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
4. 4ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಯನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸುವವನು ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಯನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳು ವವರು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೋರಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
5. 5ನ್ಯಾಯ ತೀರ್ಪನ್ನು ದುಷ್ಟರು ಗ್ರಹಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವರು ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
