ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯು ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನನೊಂದಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿ ದರೆ ಅವನು ರೇಗಿದರೂ ನಕ್ಕರೂ ಶಮನವಾಗುವು ದಿಲ್ಲ.

7ಬಡವರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನೀತಿವಂತನು ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ದುಷ್ಟನು ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತರುವ ದಿಲ್ಲ.
8ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯಗಾರರು ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಉರ್ಲನ್ನು ಒಡ್ಡು ತ್ತಾರೆ; ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸುವರು.
9ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯು ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನನೊಂದಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿ ದರೆ ಅವನು ರೇಗಿದರೂ ನಕ್ಕರೂ ಶಮನವಾಗುವು ದಿಲ್ಲ.
10ಕೊಲೆಪಾತಕರು ನೀತಿವಂತರನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸು ತ್ತಾರೆ; ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಂತರು ಅವನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಹುಡು ಕುತ್ತಾರೆ.
11ಮೂಢನು ತನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೊರ ಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
