ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವಾಡುವವರೊಡನೆ ಸಂಗಡ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವಾಡು; ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡು.
[A Psalm] of David. Plead [my cause], O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.
ಗುರಾಣಿಯನ್ನೂ ಖೇಡ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಹಿಡು ಕೊಂಡು ನನ್ನ ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಂತುಕೋ.
Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.
ಭಲ್ಲೆ ಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಅಡ್ಡಗಟ್ಟಿ--ನಾನೇ ನಿನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಎಂದು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೇಳು.
Draw out also the spear, and stop [the way] against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I [am] thy salvation.
ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವರು ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಟ್ಟು ಅವಮಾನ ಹೊಂದಲಿ; ನನಗೆ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವವರು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಲಜ್ಜೆಪಡಲಿ.
Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
ಅವರು ಗಾಳಿಯ ಮುಂದಿನ ಹೊಟ್ಟಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಆಗಲಿ; ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಲಿ, ಸೆಲಾ.
Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase [them].
ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗವು ಕತ್ತಲೆಯೂ ಜಾರಿಕೆಯೂ ಆಗಲಿ; ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸಲಿ.
Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.
ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರು ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಲೆಯನ್ನು ಕುಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿಸಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಅದನ್ನು ಅಗೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
For without cause have they hid for me their net [in] a pit, [which] without cause they have digged for my soul.
ನಾಶನವು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಬರಲಿ; ಅವನು ಅಡಗಿಸಿಟ್ಟ ಬಲೆಯು ಅವನನ್ನೇ ಹಿಡಿಯಲಿ; ಅಂಥಾ ನಾಶನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವನು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಬೀಳಲಿ,
Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.
ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸಿ ಆತನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುವದು.
And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.
ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಬಡವನನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗಿಂತ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರಿಂದ ಹೌದು, ದರಿದ್ರರನ್ನೂ ಕೊರತೆಯುಳ್ಳವರನ್ನೂ ಸುಲುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿ ಸುವವನಾದ ನಿನ್ನ ಹಾಗೆ ಯಾರು ಎಂದು ನನ್ನ ಎಲು ಬುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೇಳುವವು.
All my bones shall say, LORD, who [is] like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?
ಸುಳ್ಳು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಎದ್ದು ನಾನು ತಿಳಿಯದವುಗಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊರಿಸಿ ದರು.
False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge [things] that I knew not.
ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೇಲಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
They rewarded me evil for good [to] the spoiling of my soul.
ನಾನಾ ದರೋ ಅವರು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥವಾದಾಗ, ಗೋಣೀ ತಟ್ಟು ಹೊದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಉಪವಾಸದಿಂದ ಕುಂದಿಸಿದೆನು; ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯು ನನ್ನ ಎದೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿತು.
But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing [was] sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.
ಅವನು ನನಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನೂ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಸಹೋದರನೂ ಆದ ಹಾಗೆ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡೆನು; ತಾಯಿಗಾಗಿ ದುಃಖಪಡುವವನ ಹಾಗೆ ಭಾರವುಳ್ಳವ ನಾಗಿ ಬೊಗ್ಗಿಕೊಂಡೆನು.
I behaved myself as though [he had been] my friend [or] brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth [for his] mother.
ನನ್ನ ಆಪತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟು ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡರು; ಹೌದು, ನಾನರಿ ಯದ ದೂಷಕರು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿ ಕೊಂಡರು; ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರದೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುಲುಕೊಂಡರು.
But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: [yea], the abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew [it] not; they did tear [me], and ceased not:
ಔತಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗೇಲಿಮಾಡುವ ಕಪಟಿಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.
With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಎಷ್ಟರ ವರೆಗೆ ನೀನು ನೋಡುವಿ? ಅವರ ನಾಶನಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಸಿಂಹಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯವಾದ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸು.
Lord, how long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.
ಮಹಾಸಭೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆನು; ಬಹುಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವೆನು.
I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people.
ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ನನ್ನ ವಿಷ ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಳ್ಳಾಗಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡದೆ ಇರಲಿ; ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಹಗೆಮಾಡುವವರು ಕಣ್ಣು ಸನ್ನೆಮಾಡದೆ ಇರಲಿ.
Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: [neither] let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.
ಅವರು ಅಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶಾಂತರ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೋಸದ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against [them that are] quiet in the land.
ಹೌದು, ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಾಯನ್ನು ಅಗಲ ಮಾಡಿ--ಆಹಾ, ಆಹಾ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣು ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿತು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me, [and] said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen [it].
ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನು ಇದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೀ; ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರಬೇಡ, ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನನಗೆ ದೂರವಾಗಿರ ಬೇಡ.
[This] thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.
ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕೂ ನನ್ನ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗಿ ಉದ್ರೇಕಗೊಳ್ಳು.
Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, [even] unto my cause, my God and my Lord.
ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನನಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸು; ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡದೆ ಇರಲಿ.
Judge me, O LORD my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.
ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ--ಹಾ, ನಮ್ಮ ಇಷ್ಟವೇ ನೆರವೇರಿತು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳದಿರಲಿ. ಅವನನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟೆವೆಂದೂ ಅವರು ಹೇಳದೆ ಇರಲಿ;
Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.
ನನ್ನ ಕೇಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷ ಪಡುವವರು ಕೂಡ ನಾಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಗಲಿಬಿಲಿ ಯಾಗಿಲಿ, ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರು ನಾಚಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅವಮಾನವನ್ನೂ ಹೊದ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ.
Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify [themselves] against me.
ನನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷ ಪಡುವವರು ಉತ್ಸಾಹಧ್ವನಿಮಾಡಿ ಆನಂದಪಡಲಿ; ಹೌದು, ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋ ಷಪಡುವ ಕರ್ತನು ಮಹಿಮೆಹೊಂದಲಿ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಹೇಳಲಿ.ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿ ಗೆಯು ನಿನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವನ್ನೂ ದಿನವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಉಚ್ಚರಿಸುವದು.
Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿ ಗೆಯು ನಿನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವನ್ನೂ ದಿನವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಉಚ್ಚರಿಸುವದು.
And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness [and] of thy praise all the day long.
