ಅವರ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆಯ ದಿನ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಳೆಬೀಳದಂತೆ ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಇವರಿಗೆ ಉಂಟು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇವರಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟ ಬಂದಾಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೀರು ರಕ್ತವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಸಕಲ ವಿಧವಾದ ಉಪದ್ರವಗಳಿಂದ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆಯುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಉಂಟು.

King James Version (KJV): These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

5ಇವರಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ನಾದರೂ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದರೆ ಇವರ ಬಾಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹೊರಟು ಇವರ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿ ಬಿಡುವದು; ಇವರಿಗೆ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವನು ಈ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೊಲೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು.

7ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ತಳವಿಲ್ಲದ ತಗ್ಗಿನಿಂದ ಏರಿ ಬರುವ ಮೃಗವು ಇವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಇವರನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸಿ ಕೊಲ್ಲುವದು.
8ಇವರ ಶವಗಳು ಮಹಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವವು. ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಆತ್ಮಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸೊದೋಮ್‌ ಎಂತಲೂ ಐಗುಪ್ತ ಎಂತಲೂ ಕರೆಯುವರು; ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಶಿಲುಬೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು.
