രാജാവു യെഹോയാദയുടെ മകൻ ബെനായാവോടു കല്പിച്ചു; അവൻ ചെന്നു അവനെ വെട്ടിക്കൊന്നു. അങ്ങനെ രാജത്വം ശലോമോന്റെ കയ്യിൽ സ്ഥിരമായി.
