ആലയത്തിൽ വരുന്നവരെയും പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ വംശാവലിയിൽ പിതൃഭവനംപിതൃഭവനമായി ചാർത്തപ്പെട്ടവരെയും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതൽ മേലോട്ടു കൂറുകൂറായി താന്താങ്ങളുടെ തവണമുറെക്കു ചാർത്തപ്പെട്ട ലേവ്യരെയും ഒഴിച്ചിരുന്നു.

18സർവ്വസഭയിലും അവരുടെ എല്ലാകുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളും ഭാര്യമാരും പുത്രന്മാരും പുത്രിമാരുമായി വംശാവലിയിൽ ചാർത്തപ്പെട്ടവർക്കുംകൂടെ ഓഹരി കൊടുക്കേണ്ടതായിരുന്നു. അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ഉദ്യോഗങ്ങൾക്കൊത്തവണ്ണം തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധിയിൽ വിശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചുപോന്നു.
19പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ സകലപുരുഷപ്രജെക്കും ലേവ്യരിൽ വംശാവലിയായി ചാർത്തപ്പെട്ട എല്ലാവർക്കും ഓഹരികൊടുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളുടെ പുല്പുറപ്രദേശങ്ങളിലെ അഹരോന്യരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാർക്കും ഓരോ പട്ടണത്തിൽ പേർവിവരം പറഞ്ഞിരുന്ന പുരുഷന്മാരുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
