അവൻ തന്റെ അപ്പനായ ദാവീദിന്റെ നിയമപ്രകാരം പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ കൂറുകളെ അവരുടെ ശുശ്രൂഷെക്കും അതതു ദിവസം വേണ്ടിയിരുന്നതുപോലെ സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്‌വാനും പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ ശുശ്രൂഷിപ്പാനും ലേവ്യരെ അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾക്കും വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരെ അവരുടെ കൂറുകൾക്കൊത്തവണ്ണം അതതു വാതിലിന്നു നിയമിച്ചു; ഇങ്ങനെയായിരുന്നു ദൈവപുരുഷനായ ദാവീദിന്റെ കല്പന.
