യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്നു അടിസ്ഥാനമിട്ട നാൾമുതൽ അതു തീരുംവരെ ശലോമോന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തി ഒക്കെയും സാദ്ധ്യമായ്‌വന്നു; അങ്ങനെ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയം പണിതുതീർന്നു.

- 18ഹൂരാം തന്റെ ദാസന്മാർമുഖാന്തരം കപ്പലുകളെയും സമുദ്രപരിചയമുള്ള ആളുകളെയും അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചു; അവർ ശലോമോന്റെ ദാസന്മാരോടുകൂടെ ഓഫീരിലേക്കു ചെന്നു നാനൂറ്റമ്പതു താലന്ത് പൊന്നു വാങ്ങി ശലോമോൻരാജാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.
