ആമോൻ വാഴ്ചതുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ അവന്നു ഇരുപത്തിരണ്ടു വയസ്സായിരുന്നു; അവൻ രണ്ടു സംവത്സരം യെരൂശലേമിൽ വാണു. അവന്റെ അമ്മെക്കു മെശൂല്ലേമെത്ത് എന്നു പേർ; അവൾ യൊത്ബക്കാരനായ ഹാരൂസിന്റെ മകൾ ആയിരുന്നു.

Aamon vaazhchatutangngiyappol avannu irupattirantu vayassaayirunnu; avan rantu sanvatsaram yerooshalemil vaanu. Avante ammekku meshoollemett ennu per; aval yotbakkaaranaaya haaroosinte makal aayirunnu.
