- 20അവൻ അവനെ എടുത്തു അവന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു; അവൻ ഉച്ചവരെ അവളുടെ മടിയിൽ ഇരുന്നശേഷം മരിച്ചുപോയി.

- 22പിന്നെ അവൾ തന്റെ ഭർത്താവിനെ വിളിച്ചു: ഞാൻ വേഗത്തിൽ ദൈവപുരുഷന്റെ അടുക്കലോളം പോയിവരേണ്ടതിന്നു എനിക്കു ഒരു ബാല്യക്കാരനെയും ഒരു കഴുതയെയും അയച്ചുതരേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
- 23അതിന്നു അവൻ: ഇന്നു നീ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പോകുന്നതു എന്തിന്നു? ഇന്നു അമാവാസ്യയല്ല, ശബ്ബത്തും അല്ലല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. വേണ്ടതില്ല എന്നു അവൾ പറഞ്ഞു.
