3. 7അവൾ ചെന്നു ദൈവപുരുഷനോടു വസ്തുത അറിയിച്ചു. നീ പോയി എണ്ണ വിറ്റു കടം വീട്ടി ശേഷിപ്പുകൊണ്ടു നീയും മക്കളും ഉപജീവനും കഴിച്ചുകൊൾക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
4. 8ഒരു ദിവസം എലീശാ ശൂനേമിലേക്കു പോയി; അവിടെ ധനികയായോരു സ്ത്രീ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവൾ അവനെ ഭക്ഷണത്തിന്നു വരേണം എന്നു നിർബ്ബന്ധിച്ചു. പിന്നെത്തേതിൽ അവൻ ആ വഴി പോകുമ്പോഴൊക്കെയും ഭക്ഷണത്തിന്നു അവിടെ കയറും.
5. 9അവൾ തന്റെ ഭർത്താവിനോടു: നമ്മുടെ വഴിയായി കൂടക്കൂടെ കടന്നുപോകുന്ന ഈയാൾ വിശുദ്ധനായോരു ദൈവപുരുഷൻ എന്നു ഞാൻ കാണുന്നു.
