അപ്പോൾ ഒരുത്തൻ വന്നു: നിങ്ങൾ തടവിൽ ആക്കിയ പുരുഷന്മാർ ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ നിന്നുകൊണ്ടു ജനത്തെ ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ബോധിപ്പിച്ചു.

26പടനായകൻ ചേവകരുമായി ചെന്നു, ജനം കല്ലെറിയും എന്നു ഭയപ്പെടുകയാൽ ബലാൽക്കാരം ചെയ്യാതെ അവരെ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.
27അങ്ങനെ അവരെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു ന്യായാധിപസംഘത്തിന്മുമ്പാകെ നിറുത്തി; മഹാപുരോഹിതൻ അവരോടു:
