അപ്പോൾ ബേൽശസ്സരിന്റെ കല്പനയാൽ അവർ ദാനീയേലിനെ ധൂമ്രവസ്ത്രവും കഴുത്തിൽ പൊന്മാലയും ധരിപ്പിച്ചു; അവൻ രാജ്യത്തിലെ മൂന്നാമനായി വാഴും എന്നു അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കി.
