ദേശത്തിലെ ഫലവും ചിലതു അവർ കൈവശമാക്കിക്കൊണ്ടു നമ്മുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു വർത്തമാനമെല്ലാം അറിയിച്ചു; നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നമുക്കു തരുന്ന ദേശം നല്ലതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Deshattile phalavum chilatu avar kaivashamaakkikkontu nammute atukkal vannu varttamaanamellaam ariyichchu; nammute daivamaaya yahova namukku tarunna desham nallatu ennu paranynyu.

King James Version (KJV): And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought [it] down unto us, and brought us word again, and said, [It is] a good land which the LORD our God doth give us.

26എന്നാൽ കയറിപ്പോകുവാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു മനസ്സില്ലാതെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ കല്പന നിങ്ങൾ മറുത്തു.
27യഹോവ നമ്മെ പകെക്കയാൽ നമ്മെ നശിപ്പിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അമോര്യരുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
