അങ്ങനെ വേശ്യയുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെല്ലുന്നതുപോലെ അവർ അവളുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു; അതെ അവർ കാമുകികളായ ഒഹൊലയുടെ അടുക്കലും ഒഹൊലീബയുടെ അടുക്കലും ചെന്നു.

- 45എന്നാൽ നീതിമാന്മാരായ പുരുഷന്മാർ വ്യഭിചാരിണികൾക്കു തക്ക ന്യായപ്രകാരവും രക്തപാതകികൾക്കു തക്ക ന്യായപ്രകാരവും അവരെ ന്യായം വിധിക്കും; അവർ വ്യഭിചാരിണികളല്ലോ; അവരുടെ കയ്യിൽ രക്തവും ഉണ്ടു.
- 46യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ അവരുടെ നേരെ ഒരു സഭ കൂട്ടി അവരെ പരിഭ്രമത്തിന്നും കവർച്ചെക്കും ഏല്പിക്കും.
