4. 17മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഞാൻ നിന്നെ യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിന്നു കാവല്ക്കാരനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ എന്റെ വായിൽനിന്നു വചനം കേട്ടു എന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ അവരെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കേണം.
5. 18ഞാൻ ദുഷ്ടനോടു: നീ മരിക്കും എന്നു കല്പിക്കുമ്പോൾ നീ അവനെ ഓർപ്പിക്കയോ ദുഷ്ടനെ ജീവനോടെ രക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ തന്റെ ദുർമ്മാർഗ്ഗം വിടുവാൻ അവനെ ഓർപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടും ഒന്നും പറകയോ ചെയ്യാഞ്ഞാൽ, ദുഷ്ടൻ തന്റെ അകൃത്യത്തിൽ മരിക്കും; അവന്റെ രക്തമോ ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു ചോദിക്കും.
