1. 22യെഹൂദാരാജാവിന്റെ അരമനയിൽ ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന സകലസ്ത്രീകളും പുറത്തു ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ പോകേണ്ടിവരും; നിന്റെ ചങ്ങാതിമാർ നിന്നെ വശീകരിച്ചു തോല്പിച്ചു; നിന്റെ കാൽ ചെളിയിൽ താണപ്പോൾ പിന്മാറിക്കളഞ്ഞു എന്നു അവർ പറയും.
2. 23നിന്റെ സകലഭാര്യമാരെയും മക്കളെയും പുറത്തു കല്ദയരുടെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുപോകും; നീയും അവരുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോകാതെ ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ അകപ്പെടും; ഈ നഗരത്തെ തീ വെച്ചു ചുട്ടുകളയുന്നതിന്നു നീ ഹേതുവാകും.
3. 24സിദെക്കീയാവു യിരെമ്യാവോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: ഈ കാര്യം ആരും അറിയരുതു: എന്നാൽ നീ മരിക്കയില്ല.
4. 25ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു സംസാരിച്ചപ്രകാരം പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർ കേട്ടിട്ടു നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു: നീ രാജാവിനോടു എന്തു സംസാരിച്ചു? ഞങ്ങളോടു പറക; ഒന്നും മറെച്ചുവെക്കരുതു; ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്നെ കൊല്ലുകയില്ല; രാജാവു നിന്നോടു എന്തു സംസാരിച്ചു എന്നിങ്ങനെ ചോദിച്ചാൽ,
5. 26നീ അവരോടു: യോനാഥാന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ കിടന്നു മരിക്കാതെ ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്നെ വീണ്ടും അവിടെ അയക്കരുതേ എന്നു ഞാൻ രാജസന്നിധിയിൽ സങ്കടം ബോധിപ്പിക്കയായിരുന്നു എന്നു പറയേണം.
