മാറുവിൻ! അശുദ്ധൻ! മാറുവിൻ! മാറുവിൻ! തൊടരുതു! എന്നു അവരോടു വിളിച്ചുപറയും; അവർ ഓടി ഉഴലുമ്പോൾ: അവർ ഇനി ഇവിടെ വന്നു പാർക്കയില്ല എന്നു ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ പറയും.
Maaruvin! Ashuddhan! Maaruvin! Maaruvin! Totarutu! Ennu avarotu vilichchuparayum; avar oti uzhalumpol: avar ini ivite vannu paarkkayilla ennu jaatikalute itayil parayum.

- 17വ്യർത്ഥസഹായത്തിന്നായി നോക്കി ഞങ്ങളുടെ കണ്ണു ഇപ്പോഴും മങ്ങുന്നു; രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ കഴിയാത്ത ജാതിക്കായി ഞങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങളുടെ കാവൽമാളികയിൽ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
