സംവത്സരങ്ങൾ ഏറിയിരുന്നാൽ വില ഉയർത്തേണം; സംവത്സരങ്ങൾ കുറഞ്ഞിരുന്നാൽ വില താഴ്ത്തേണം; അനുഭവത്തിന്റെ കാലസംഖ്യെക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം അവൻ നിനക്കു വില്ക്കുന്നു.

Sanvatsarangngal eriyirunnaal vila uyarttenam; sanvatsarangngal kuranynyirunnaal vila taazhttenam; anubhavattinte kaalasankhyekku ottavannam avan ninakku vilkkunnu.

King James Version (KJV): According to the multitude of years thou shalt increase the price thereof, and according to the fewness of years thou shalt diminish the price of it: for [according] to the number [of the years] of the fruits doth he sell unto thee.
