പിന്നെ അവൻ യജമാനന്റെ കടക്കാരിൽ ഓരോരുത്തനെ വരുത്തി ഒന്നാമത്തവനോടു: നീ യജമാനന്നു എത്ര കടംപെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

- 7അതിന്റെ ശേഷം മറ്റൊരുത്തനോടു: നീ എത്ര കടം പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. നൂറു പറ കോതമ്പു എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു; അവനോടു: നിന്റെ കൈച്ചീട്ടു വാങ്ങി എണ്പതു എന്നു എഴുതുക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
